Here are the details for the 2022 Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway:

Who Can Receive Thanksgiving Baskets

Families residing in the SWAG neighborhoods, including Majestic Oaks, Tower Oaks/Tower Oaks Glen, Linton Oaks, Holly Heights, Harbor Cove, Pine Meadow, Gordon Manor, and Hidden Oak MHP. You must provide a photo ID and utility bill to verify your address.

OR

Veterans residing in Alachua County. You must provide proof of your veteran status (i.e., veteran ID) with a valid Alachua County address.

When

Registration is open from October 17th–November 14th. Patrons must be registered in person and bring all verification to register. Pickup is Monday, November 21st, from 2:00 pm -7:00 pm.

Where

Sign up in person at the SWAG Family Resource Center.

Please Note

If you are disabled or bedridden, please notify a SWAG staff member at sign-up. Food that is NOT picked up on time will be given to a patron on the waiting list. Only one basket will be given per household registered.
