This year, for the first time ever, the SWAG summer program included an end of summer field trip to Homosassa Springs to visit the manatees and learn about the springs and the animals that live there. During the summer, the kids adopted one of the manatees, and named her Ariel. As you can see from the pictures (click on the link below), it was a huge success and definitely a once in a life time opportunity for many of the kids involved! Many thanks to all of the volunteers and donors that made this trip possible.
