
El sábado, Enero 16, 2021 la comunidad SWAG dijo adiós a nuestra querida amiga y líder, Joan Canton. Ella fue una visionaria y mentora para SWAG y una luchadora por el bienestar de su comunidad, especialmente sus niños. SWAG’s service centers SWAG honra y celebra su vida, y su legado vive en nuestro trabajo y nuestros corazones.
Tal vez no todos estamos en el mismo barco, pero todos estamos en la misma tormenta.

On November 4, 2021, the Community Foundation of North Central Florida honored Joan by awarding her the first-ever Joan Canton Community Champion Award. Subsequently, this award will honor those who do remarkable social justice work in the community each year.
