Our mission is to address the needs of the community by connecting individuals and families to services and resources through advocacy and partnerships with agencies and community partners.
We are a grassroots, non-profit organization serving eight neighborhoods in SW Gainesville. As a result of years of hard work by community leaders and partnerships with local agencies, we offer a wide range of services, including:
- High-quality early care and education
- Homework help for elementary and middle/high school students
- Weekly free bread & pastry distribution
- Monthly community dinners
- Weekly free clothing closet
- Daily computer & Internet access
- Medical services
- Dental services
- And much, much more!
Before you visit our service centers, we invite you to call 352-505-6823. Then, staff at the SWAG Family Resource Center can assist you and tell you about the programs and services that are available now.
We invite you to explore this site to learn about SWAG and all we have to offer!
